Specially created for Anne Neville, these mesh-knit vintage seamfree nylons are 'Guaranteed Ladderproof'. The stockings feature the classic Reinforced Heel and Toe (RHT), which ensures additional resistance to wear at the points at which stockings often suffer. This type of stocking is knit such that there are knots at the intersection of the filaments, which ensures that the stockings don't run - or as the British would say, 'ladder'. This does mean that the stockings feel thicker, but manufacturers compensate for this potential reduction in sheerness by spacing the filaments further apart. The denier of these stockings isn't stated on the packs, but the overall appearance is equivalent, in our opinion, to 20 denier, which is, arguably, the ideal compromise - durability and sheer elegance. The welt (stocking top) is stretchy for additional comfort.
