The composition of and denier of the yarn is not indicated on the pack, but we assess these seamfree stockings as being equivalent to 15 denier, and we feel that they precede the era of Elasthane and 'Lycra', and are therefore knit in a nylon yarn in such a way as to allow for stretchiness. The underwelt is very short, and the stocking-top itself, although stretchy, is quite shallow. The size 'Small' is not defined, but we assume that this is equivalent to size 8.5 to 9.
