| Details: Non-stretch seamless slinky, slippery, smooth and sensuous plain-knit sheer 20 denier, 100% nylon stockings with full Reinforced Heel and Toe (RHT), with a plain knit top. These lovely nylons are very high-quality luxury classic stockings from the past, and are a rare find from this top-end brand. The exceptional sheerness (see the scans) is due to the fact that the knit is in a low needle count (295 needles) which means that the individual threads are spaced less closely than is customary - the norm is 400 needles. A printed thin card insert extols the virtues of this hosiery, and the reinforced toe of at least one of the pair in each pack bears a gold imprint reading simply 'Bi'. The pack is made of quite brittle cellophane, which probably dates the contents back to the 1960's, and in some cases, the pack is slightly damaged. These nylons come in three leg lengths, as follows: Small 86 - 88cm (33.75 - 34.5 inches); Medium 88-90cm (34.5 - 35.25 inches); Long 90 - 92cm (35.25 - 36 inches). |
