Vintage ultra-sheer micromesh seamfree nylon stockings from the high-end Italian hosiery manufacturer, Bloch. These lovely nylons feature a full Reinforced Heel and Toe (RHT), and have a s-t-r-e-t-c-h-y mousse top for additional comfort around the wearers upper thigh. Although the maker states the number of needles on the machine used to knit the stockings i.e. 400, there is no refernce to the denier of these nylons, but we are confident that they are knit in a 15 denier yarn.
In addition to the Reinforced Heel and Toe, there is an additional area under the foot between the heel and the toe that is lightly reinforced, presumably to porovide enhanced comfort and durability.
The stockings are offered in the original cellophane pack, which is, generally in good condition.
These stockings probably date from the 1980's, which accounts for the excellent condition of the packaging. The packs are unopened, but we believe that there is a printed insert in each pack identical (or similar) to that shown in our scans, left.
