Non-stretch nylon, 30 denier (although this is not indicated on either the packaging or the imprint) plain knit Fully-Fashioned all-nylon stockings, and featuring a Cuban heel. There is an imprint on the welt of one leg, which indicates that these vintage nylons are 51 gauge in Dupont nylon. There is one line of 'detail' (Picot) stitching at the bottom of the underwelt.
The packaging does vary slightly, and the stockings in the colour we have called 'Tan' have an imprint, but the word 'CALIFORNIA' does not feature on the imprint.
PLEASE NOTE: The stockings are packed in the original cellophane packaging, which has deteriorated since the stockings were made in the late 1940's or early 1950's, and in most cases the pack is creased or torn, but the contents are intact, and unworn!! In a few (3 or 4) cases the pack is so badly damaged that we have re-packed the stockings in tissue.
