A stylish box of two pairs of vintage sensuous, slinky plain knit seamfree nylon stockings by Christian Dior. The stockings have a reinforced toe, and the heel, whilst being tailored (or technically more correctly, reciprocated), is not reinforced. The imprint on the stocking top/welt of one leg in the pair reads as follows:

Each pair of stockings is somewhat extravagantly packed in clear polythene, a separate printed tissue sleeve, and finally a glossy paper wrapper embossed
'Christian Dior PARIS NEW YORK LONDON'.
On one end of the slim box the colour appears to be defined as 'MARQUISE'. the leg length is not given. Similarly, the denier is not stated, but these stockings are extremely sheer, and whilst their gossamer-fineness tempts us to claim that they are more sheer than 15 denier, there is no evidence to confirm this.
