We specialise in non-stretch nylon stockings that require a garter belt (aka suspender belt). Most of the stockings in our extensive range are 'vintage', 'classic' or genuine 'retro', and, wherever possible, they are offered for sale in the original packaging.
We regularly travel to find new stock, and the vintage nylon stockings we select for inclusion in our store vary from durable everyday 20 or 30 denier micromesh stockings to ultra-sheer, gossamer-fine 7 denier slinky plain knit stockings. We include nylons in many delightful fashion shades from many famous and historical brand names such as Blue Mambo, Holeproof, La Mode, Mayfair, MyWay, Taylor-Woods, Wolsey, Wonderful, in sizes from exceptionally small (size 8) through to large (size 11). Occasionally we also offer a few, carefully selected, classic nylon stockings which may have a degree of stretch, but the majority of our stock consists of non-stretch all-nylon vintage stockings.

Remember those lovely sheer 'RHT' and 'FF' (aka seamed) stockings (nylons) from the elegant and stylish past — when ladies were feminine? Ho-hose offers nylons that recapture the glamour of the past. Non-stretch nylon stockings were made in countless millions over a period of about 50 years, but in the late 1960's when pantyhose (tights) became available and the new, stretchy yarns incorporating elasthane or Lycra were introduced, most manufacturers ceased production of non-stretch nylons. This means that vintage non-stretch stockings are becoming increasingly difficult to procure, and correspondingly expensive, so we include carefully-selected modern non-stretch 100% nylon stockings from companies such as Cervin and Clio.
