Classic micromesh nylon stockings, proobably dating from the 1960's knit in a sheer, yet durable, 20 denier yarn using 400 needles. The shorter-than-usual plain knit welt (aka stocking-top) measures 75mm from top to bottom. The 35mm deep underwelt/afterwelt has an 8mm-deep central band of closely-spaced contrasting Picot stititching for a touch of eye-catching glamour.
The stockings were made in Italy, probably by Toscana Calze (because the styling of the thin polythene packs is very similar to that Company's 'Fizzi' style) but the language used on the front of the pack to describe the contents indicates that these nylons were intended for the Danish market.
PLEASE NOTE: The packs are slightly grubby - hence the low price, but the contents appear to be undamaged.
