Non-stretch slinky plain knit 100% nylon seamfree stockings, made in Italy. The stockings have a shaped heel and toe, but these are not significantly reinforced, hence our classification as Shadow Heel and Toe.

which is a very accurate description, because they have a silk-like feel and a lovely, distinctive, silky sheen.The 72mm-deep welt (aka stocking-top) is stretchy, for additional comfort, and the under/afterwelt is almost non-existent ( a mere 8mm), which makes these lovely vintage nylons perfect for those higher hemlines.
