Super-sheer 15 denier slinky plain knit Fully Fashioned all-nylon stockings with a Point Heel. These quality stockings were made in England by Morley, probably in the 1960's, and are are classified by the manufacturer as follows (from the pack):
'GEMS' by Morley are reliable second choice stockings which do not quite reach our very high first quality standards of manufacture.
The stockings have different styles of welt/stocking top: some have contrasting bands of Picot stitching throughout, whilst others have many fewer feature lines. The denier and gauge are not stated on the packs, but the colours are. We are confident that these exceptionally sheer vintage nylons are 60 gauge, and in 15 denier.
