Seamfree plain-knit, vintage Italian-made 100% nylon (polyamide) stockings. These luxury stockings feature a nude heel and a reinforced toe which does not differ significantly from the leg or foot of the stocking, hence our classification as Shadow Toe. These classic stockings have a glamorous, slinky, silk-like shimmer, sheen and feel. The denier is not specified but we are of the opinion that these are equivalent to a 20 or 30 denier stocking.
The stockings have no discernible stretch, and the sizing chart (see the scans, left) indicates the three sizes that were manufactured. The welt (stocking-top) measures a generous 100mm in the sample that we have viewed, whilst the underwelt/afterwelt is approximately 30mm deep.
