Ultra-sheer 15 denier slinky plain knit nylons by Three Knots. Knit in Bri-Nylon yarn to 60 gauge in the late 1950's, these classic Fully Fashioned nylons feature a slender and slightly elongated a seam under the foot extending from reinforced Point heel which almost tapers to a point - as can be clearly seen from the scans. What cannot be discerned from the scans is how exceptionally sheer and how delightful are the colour of these stockings - our scanner struggled to accurately reproduce the pale shade 'Bisque Beige'.
The original very stylish and elegant cellophane pack is in exceptionally fine condition despite its age.
The top of the welt (stocking top) has a very narrow accent line of red thread knitted into it, and there is a line of contrasting Picot stitches knitted into the underwelt/afterwelt just below the stocking top, with a second similar line of stitching further down, almost adjacent to the interface with the leg of the stocking.
A really beautiful vintage pair of seamed stockings.
