We specialise in non-stretch nylon stockings that require a garter belt (aka suspender belt). Most of the stockings in our extensive range are 'vintage', 'classic' or genuine 'retro', and, wherever possible, they are offered for sale in the original packaging.

We regularly travel extensively to find new stock, and the vintage nylon stockings we select for inclusion in our store vary from durable everyday 20 or 30 denier micromesh stockings to ultra-sheer, gossamer-fine 7 denier plain knit stockings which recapture the glamour of the past. We include nylons, in the original packaging, in many delightful fashion shades from many famous and historical brand names such as Arosa, Babette, Blue Heel, Cacharel, California, Cervin, Clio, Crestmont, Dansilar, Dior, DoreDore, Elizabeth, English Rose, Exciting, Gerbe, Girardi, Goldylon, Hellen, Ibici, Jaqueline, Katherine, Kunert, Lanvin, Levante, Mac, Mami, My Way, Nobis, Omsa, Patterned, Pierre Balmain, Pierre Mantoux, Preatex, Rede, Sanclair, Sesana, Silca, Sortilege, in sizes from exceptionally small (size 8) through to large (size 11). We also offer a few, carefully selected, classic nylon stockings which may have a degree of stretch, but the majority of our stock consists of non-stretch all-nylon vintage stockings.

Remember those lovely sheer 'RHT' and 'FF' stockings (nylons) from the elegant and stylish past — when ladies were feminine? Ho-hose offers nylons that recapture the glamour of the past. Nylon stockings were made in countless millions over a period of about 50 years, but with the advent of pantyhose (tights) and the new, stretchy yarns incorporating elasthane or Lycra became available, most manufacturers ceased production of non-stretch nylons in the early 1980's. This means that vintage non-stretch (monofilament) stockings are becoming increasingly difficult to procure, and correspondingly expensive, so we include carefully-selected modern non-stretch all-nylon stockings from companies such as Cervin and Clio.

We believe that we carry the largest selection of genuine traditional (retro) nylon stockings anywhere, and can offer them to you at very realistic prices. We don't pay for expensive 'glamour' images of our products, and don't offer fancy packaging or colour brochures, and by keeping our costs low, we are able to offer these lovely stockings to you at very competitive prices. Our ordering process is quick and simple: the web site keeps you advised of your selections and of the cost of the shipping charges at all times during the process. We offer a variety of methods of helping you to find the product you seek: either by means of expanding menus classified by type, or by direct searches using a number of criteria. The web site detects the location of your Internet Service Provider (ISP) and automatically presents prices to you in the most appropriate currency. All goods are sent in discreet packaging, and we pride ourselves on our discretion in handling any orders: all paperwork is shredded prior to disposal.
